Directions from outside the front of King's Cross and St Pancras stations:
Turn right into Euston Road and go about 400 metres. The Rocket is on the right, on the corner of Euston Road and Chalton Street.
Description:
The Rocket is a large pub that's very popular with students from the nearby halls of residence. An attractive old pub on the outside it has created a student union feeling on the inside with its multi-coloured painted walls. It is busy most evenings especially Thursdays and weekends when there are DJs. Other events include quizzes and karaoke. It has been part of the Scream student pub chain but currently (March 2011) is no longer on the Scream website and staff were unable to say what the future holds for it.
