Description:
There has been a church here since the 4th century, although the current building mostly dates from the late 19th Century. The churchyard is a peaceful and interesting open place to explore and contains the fascinating Hardy Tree, as well as having associations with Charles Dickens, the poet Shelley and The Beatles (see the church's Wikipedia page for more information). In 2010 St Pancras Old Church started holding concerts by artists including James Blake and Emmy the Great and has acquired a license to serve alcohol.
