Directions from outside the front of King's Cross and St Pancras stations:

Turn left into Euston Road and pass in front of King's Cross station. Cross York Way (to outside McDonald's) and go along Pentonville Road for about 100 metres and turn left into Caledonian Road. Go about 210 metres and turn right into Northdown Street.King Charles I is on the right.

Popular with locals, office workers and students, King Charles I is a single-room pub in a side street off the Caledonian Road lined with wooden panelling that gives it a warm, traditional feel. They don't serve food but allow you to buy your own from a nearby takeaway and eat it in the pub. There are usually two or three real ales on offer.
